As Pittsburgh wedding photographers, we have the BEST job. We love stories, we love creating artful images, we love working together, and we LOVE our couples! We do everything we can to make sure that working with us is an authentic and enjoyable experience.

Every time we take out our cameras, we love getting to help people tell their stories. From getting to hear the story of their love and how their relationship started, to how they proposed – all of it. No matter how many stories of love we hear, every time it is unique and unrepeatable and amazing to us that these two people who are so good together found each other!! We really love people and we love getting to show people how awesome, beautiful, and amazing they already are.

Getting to work together as a team is amazing for both us and for our couples. We are better together and know one another so well that we can zig while the other zags. This way, nothing is missed! We are both creative souls at heart, so creating artful images and telling stories is really something we live for. Glen studied filmmaking in college but realized what he really likes about it is actually just the image-making part, which led him to photography. Julia did ballet for many years, so there is an artistic way she sees movement from that lived experience. Making art with people’s stories and hearing them say we captured the FEEL of it perfectly is the best!

Our wedding photography style is authentic, poetic, honest, wholehearted (shout out to Brené Brown fans!), artistic, documentary, storytelling, fun, soulful, and nostalgic. One couple said in their review that their photos have a  "timeless warmth" and we absolutely love that! We love looking for poetic moments that are naturally unfolding on your wedding day. Our approach to wedding photography is really to be as unobtrusive as possible and let you LIVE your day as it naturally is happening. Of course, there are more structured parts of the day, like taking romantic portraits of the two of you together (or family portraits if that’s something you choose to do) where we will be direct and clear with our guidance and direction.

Nearly every couple has said something along the lines of "we're so awkward in front of the camera" and it is normal to feel that way! We don't think we need to "make you photogenic," we really want you to be having a good time which will translate to images that look good because you actually really feel good and are having a freakin' good time! 

Our wedding photography packages

Our Epic collection includes up to 12 hours of coverage with 2 photographers. You also receive a complimentary engagement session and a 20-page highlight album with gallery print wall art with this collection. This package is full day coverage, and we really mean that! This is the pinnacle of the experiences we offer – ultimate storytelling for the whole day! You will get a full picture of the big moments and the little moments that all work together to write the poetry of how your day was. And you will be able to get the print products of this story to be able to relive this epic story of your love for years and generations to come!

The Storyteller collection includes 8 hours of coverage with 2 photographers and 50% off an engagement session. This package is fewer hours, but we are always going to give our all to make these images be full of your love story. You’ll get all the magic of the in-between moments, as well!

The Open Heart collection is for intimate weddings and elopements with 4 hours of coverage from 1 photographer. We absolutely LOVE getting to do romantic couples photography, so elopements and small weddings are especially amazing for us. It means there is a LOT more time to get these kinds of photos in your wedding attire!

When you reach out through our website, you’ll have had an opportunity to check out our pricing guide, so we can jump right into our free, no-commitment, no strings attached call. It’s important to us to chat with you so you can get a feel for us and our vibe and we can get a feel for you and yours. Whether over zoom or in person, a face-to-face chat allows you to ask questions and get answers in real time. And we want a chance to hang out!

If you choose us – woohoo!! We’ll ask for a retainer to secure your date, work out a payment schedule for the remainder, and send a contract for you to sign. It’s that simple!

If you’ve selected a collection that includes an engagement session or you want to add one on, that’s the next step. We super recommend having an engagement session with us – it is a great chance to get comfortable with us before your wedding day. That additional trust helps us blend in and just be a part of the action on your wedding day, too.

We're available anytime until the wedding to chat if you have any photo or wedding related questions. We are always happy to recommend vendors that we especially love to work with if you are looking for a DJ, florist, planner, MUA, first dance choreographer, etc.

About 6 weeks before your wedding, we will send a detailed day-of questionnaire so we can be well-prepared for your day. This allows us to make sure we can fit in everything you want captured at your wedding!

Then the big day! We are here! With you! We’re so pumped! We will bring details styling items with us like ring boxes, ribbons, and a fancy hanger if you want a dress photo (also fine if you don't care about this!). We will be dancing around the action, capturing all the little in-between moments we can find of you, your wedding party, your grandma, your parents, your friends. We love to photograph an energetic dance floor!!! And if you want, we will sneak you away from your reception for a bit for extra portrait time at sunset or blue hour – we highly recommend this!!

You will receive a generous number of preview images (80+) from the whole day within 72 hours of your wedding so you can enjoy seeing it all right away. Full gallery can take up to 8 weeks to receive!
